Exxon Mobil exec retiring after lengthy career

An Exxon Mobil Corp. division president is retiring after 36 years with the company.
Philip J. Dingle, 58, president of Houston-based Exxon Mobil Gas & Power Marketing Co., is retiring effective Oct. 1, the company said Wednesday.
The Irving-based oil giant has appointed Andy P. Swiger as the new president of the segment. He will become a vice president of the company Oct. 1. Swiger is currently vice president of Exxon Mobil Production Co.
Dingle, since 2003, has overseen the commercial development, marketing and purchasing of natural gas, natural gas liquids and associated products and electrical power for Exxon Mobil (NYSE: XOM).
Dingle has held a number of domestic and international positions with the company, including chairman and CEO of Esso Malaysia and president of Exxon Mobil Saudi Arabia in Riyadh.
