Parker Drilling Co., provides drilling and related services to the oil and gas industry, said Tuesday it received contracts for six of its land rigs from international customers.

Financial terms of the contracts were not disclosed. All the contracts span three years and five of the six rigs contracted are currently inactive.

Certain subsidiaries operating in Libya, Mexico and Kazakhstan contracted the rigs, Parker Drilling said.

Shares of Parker Drilling fell 8 cents to $9.56 in morning trading on the New York Stock Exchange.
