First Narrows Resources Corp. and (”First Narrows” or the “Company”) is pleased to provide an update on the mineral resource definition drilling program in progress on its Chester Copper-Polymetallic Feeder Deposit. To date, a total of 144 holes totaling 8,078 meters (26,503 ft.) have been drilled in the delineation program, 22 holes in 2006 and 122 holes in 2007.

The mineral resource definition drilling program continues to define and expand the dimensions of the upper part of the Feeder Deposit, with grades, widths and continuity of the mineralization remaining impressive. The Feeder Deposit, a major sub-volcanic hydrothermal “plumbing system,” remains open down plunge for at least 800 meters (2,625 ft.) beyond the current area of drilling.

Analytical results for 14 holes follow below. The results are from holes that have delineated the fringes of the Feeder Deposit nearer surface (e.g. C-07-059, -070), from holes that have further defined a high grade area of the feeder mineralization, and from the region where the zinc-lead-silver volcanogenic massive sulphide (”VMS”) zone (Central VMS Deposit) merges and inter-fingers with the copper-polymetallic Feeder Deposit.
