U.S. market enery prices move higher

Oil prices climbed towards the $70 mark in early U.S. trading on Thursday. Light sweet crude for October delivery moved at $69.70, up 44 cents. It got as high as $70.08 in early activity. Oil dropped to a five-week low on the first day with October as the front-month contract on Wednesday.
Natural gas was up in early U.S. trading Thursday ahead of the weekly inventory report. September-dated natural gas was at $5.661, up 8.3 cents on the session. Prices fell sharply for the three previous sessions.
Heating oil gained in early U.S. trading on Thursday in U.S. trading, adding 1.45 cents to move at $1.9628. September-stamped heating oil has been in a range for two weeks.
Gasoline prices were up in U.S. trading on Thursday morning. RBOB gasoline for September delivery was at $1.9085, up 1.95 cents. It jumped up at the open and has remained higher for the opening half-hour.
