Mongolian Coal Mining Company Plans To Increase Coal Capacity and Production in 2009

Inner Mongolia will stabilize the development of coal industry and raise over 90 million tonnes coal capacity in 2009.
As the second largest coal production base in China, Inner Mongolia has kept at an upward level in recent years. Among other, the output of its raw coal arrived at 0.457 billion tonnes in 2008 up by 0.107 billion tonnes from 2007. While, the ratio of its coal shipped out to other areas of China was at 50%, make a great contribution to other areas’ economic development.
Inner Mongolia mulls over to produce 0.47 billion tonnes raw coal this year and at the same time, it will push the construction of large modern coal bases for further development. The constructions of approved or being built coal projects are learnt to be the focus and the newly started coal capacity for the whole year is expected to be at 63.50 million tonnes and the newly finished one is prognosticated to be 30.90 million tonnes.
