The rise of coke trade, demand for coking coal is spurred, thus sales of coking coal have pointed to the upside and coking coal price has even edged up in some areas.

Currently in Linfen, Shanxi, coke enterprises haven’t raised their purchase price of coking coal. The primary coking coal below grade ten remains at CNY 1,050 per tonne to CNY 1,150 per tonne and fat coal at CNY 1,120 per tonne to CNY 1,150 per tonne. In Changzhi, Shanxi, primary coking coal remains at CNY 1,050 per tonne and the ex-mine price of raw coal stays at CNY 700 per tonne. In Changzhi, coking coal price tends to go up as sales have gone up. Some clean coal producers have raised coal price by CNY 50 per tonne.
