Exxonmobil And Petrochina Kontraka Approve Liquefied Natural Gas Worth U.S. $ 41.3 Billion

Trade relationship between Australia and China had experienced tension, because the case of disclosure of state secrets by Rio Tinto staff in the process of negotiating the sale of iron ore contract prices. But the tension between the two countries improved slightly with the signing of cooperation contract of liquefied natural gas supply between ExxonMobil and PetroChina. Value of the contract agreed upon by the two largest mining companies was U.S. $ 41.3. This investment can open up to 6000 jobs and help Australia’s economic growth.
PetroChina ordered 2.25 million tons of liquefied natural gas (LNG) per year for two decades of ExxonMobil’s share of the still undeveloped Gorgon plant from Western Australia.
Foreign Minister Stephen Smith, who on Tuesday complained that “the unhappiest of China has lowered the official visit of Kadeer, said it was business as usual for Chinatwo countries”.
”Our relationship continues to be productive and very focused on economic complimentarity Australia and China, the fact that we are a reliable, safe and secure supplier of resources, and the Chinese economy continues to develop and improve,”he said.
