Anglo Coal Will Close Queensland Coal Mining Exploration Project Early

Coal mining company Anglo Coal will close the coal mines located in Queensland, if the Federal Government issued a climate change policies that affect air pollution levels. Due to the closure of coal mining exploration project, as many as 2000 jobs associated with mining exploration activities will be lost. Anglo Coal hopes the Federal Government could consider the loss if the Queensland coal mines to be closed early.
Policies issued by the Federal Government relating to concessions on reducing Carbon Pollution Scheme (CPRS). Some industrial companies do not accept the policy issued by the federal government. If the federal government continue to run its policies, then the coal mining companies and some industrial companies had to close the production and exploration activities in the area of Queensland mines.
Ms. Carroll, who recently met with Prime Minister Kevin Rudd, said the global economic outlook is now much more positive than a year ago and Anglo are ready to progress.
Rising commodity prices, global sharemarkets is the recovery and international incentive package has worked.
“We are very well positioned to take advantage of progress,” he said.
