Reg Energy Corp. reported, one of Japan’s largest trading companies, Sumitomo Corp. agreed to pay $ 140 million for 30 percent stake Reg Energy Corp. in the gas business in the Marcellus Shale region, United States.

Sumitomo plans to invest about $1.2 billion in the project during the next ten years, it said today in a statement on the company’s website.
