Almost $400,000 in mineral royalties were distributed to Kentucky during fiscal 2006 from onshore mineral leases administered by the U.S. Department of the Interior, Bureau of Land Management-Eastern States, according to a news release.
The $379,000 was a big jump from $79,000 distributed to Kentucky in fiscal 2005.
