Callon Petroleum Completes Acquisition of Stake in Entrada Field
Callon Petroleum Company has closed the acquisition of BP Exploration and Production Company’s 80% working interest in the Entrada Field for total cash consideration of $190 million. The purchase price included $150 million payable at closing and an additional $40 million payable after the achievement of certain production milestones.

Callon Petroleum Co. said Friday fourth-quarter earnings shot up 36 percent as daily production volumes doubled.
Net income rose to $5.9 million, or 27 cents per share, from $4.3 million, or 20 cents per share, a year ago.
The result met analysts estimates, according to Thomson Financial.
