CCI to acquire coal company
Cleveland-Cliffs Inc. has agreed to acquire coal producer PinnOak Resources, LLC, and its subsidiary operating companies, for $450 million in cash plus about $150 million in debt.
PinnOak is a privately owned domestic producer of metallurgical coal. The transaction is expected to close within 60 days and is subject to regulatory clearances.
