National Power Corp. (Napocor), the largest electricity producer in the Philippines, said on Wednesday it has awarded its recent tender for May to July arrival coal panamax cargoes at about $81.50 a tonne CIF.
The tender was awarded to Australia’s Hunter Valley Coal Corp., a wholly-owned subsidiary of mining giant Xstrata Coal .
