Amstrong Coal Company Hopes To Open Two New Coal Mining Project and Up To 200 Mining Jobs


While many employers are cutting workers, the coal industry is adding to its payroll. The Armstrong Coal Company says it hopes to open two new mines. An underground mine in Muhlenberg County and a surface mine in Ohio County.
