Nonoc nickel mine talks hit price snag

Talks between China’s Jinchuan Group Ltd. and the Philippines’ Philnico Industrial Corp. to reopen the shuttered Nonoc nickel mine are facing difficulties, Economic Planning Secretary Romulo Neri said.
“I’ve told them (Jinchuan) to diversify their interest,” Neri told a news conference on Wednesday. “Philnico is asking for more and more money.”
