Oil eases while gold breaches $900

Oil prices weakened on Thursday after a strong surge in the previous session while gold briefly regained the $900 level and base metals weakened across the board.
Nymex May West Texas Intermediate dipped 70 cents to $104.18 a barrel after rising $3.85 on Wednesday and touching a session high of $105.10.
